DuraSys Corporation Rugged Terminals offer tough construction, low component count and low power consumption. They provide the reliable cost-effective solution you need for harsh environments in factory, government, military, warehouse and OEM applications.

Various emulation capabilities of our I-Series terminals make it easy to provide data entry or display statistical information, alarm messages, troubleshooting data, operator guidance, and other information to your operating staff or customers of your OEM products.

Available in color or monochrome and various screen sizes, I-Series terminals offer a variety of emulation protocols, including ASCII and ANSI (VT-XXX) for text, and Tek 4010/4014, ReGIS and X for graphics. Large characters and line drawing graphics characters allow fast screen writing in text and character graphics modes. Full graphics may be displayed using the Tek, ReGIS or X modes.

Available in a Variety of Housings

I-Series terminals are housed in your choice of 19" Rackmount, Near NEMA Worktop, NEMA 12/4 Worktop, or Panel Mount cases. This allows you to choose the housing appropriate to your environment and application. An office grade unit is available for applications where office and plant compatibility is required.

Easy Interfacing

I-series Terminals easily interface to any device capable of serial communications using RS232 or RS423 signal levels, or to Ethernet Networks. Various serial and parallel port combinations are available depending on model. A useful data line monitor allows display of all escape sequences and control codes so you can see exactly what is being sent from the host.

Convenient Keyboard Options

DuraSys IK full travel sealed keyboards in ANSI and PC key layouts are available. The IK keyboard is housed in a steel case with a protective membrane overlay trapped between internal gasketing. The membrane and individual keyswitches may be replaced. Custom keyboards are available as an option. Some models support a no-moving-parts industrial pointing device.
