High Performance Systems in Worktop or Rackmount Chassis

Ideal for industrial, government, or network requirements, DuraSys Rugged Computer Systems have the outstanding reliability needed for demanding applications.

We offer high performance, cost effective processing power in the DuraSys Rugged Worktop or 19 inch Rugged Rackmount chassis with your choice of Intel Pentium III or Celeron processors and BX, 810e and 820 chipsets.

Active mainboards from the highest regarded vendors (who have phone numbers and URLs) are used for highest performance/price, as well as passive backplane systems for those applications requiring a larger number of PCI or ISA expansion slots. Video monitors with touchscreen option in a variety of sizes, a rackmount keyboard/drawer, and various pointing devices are also available.

The R-Series computer chassis is solidly constructed of steel with an aluminum front panel, and features a shock mounted drive cage, filtered positive pressure cooling with dual fans, and a high reliability PC Power and Cooling power supply. The size is 7.00" H (4U) x 17.00" W x 17.75" D (19 inches W for the rackmount). Solid bearing slides used on the rackmount chassis permit the chassis to removed from the rack far enough to allow access to internal cards and rear connectors.

Data acquisation, server or other special purpose systems may have 128 MB (or more) of memory and Ultra DMA IDE or SCSI hard drive systems with processors to 700 MHz. Base systems typically have 64 MB memory, UDMA IDE drive systems, and the Celeron 466 MHz processor. Systems may be configured with hard drive and video subsystems to your specification, thus providing no more or less than exactly the performance needed, while allowing for future upgrade.
