DuraSys Corporation offers the IK-Series of rugged industrial keyboards for use with RC-series computer systems and I-Series video terminals, as well as office grade keyboards for PC compatible computer systems, and certain models of Wyse and Link serial video terminals. These keyboards are full stroke or short stroke providing excellent tactile feedback to the operator.

A rackmount keyboard drawer with a small footprint PC compatible keyboard is available and provides for the use of several different types of pointing devices, including the Glidepoint touchpad (no moving parts) pointing device, a small trackball with wrist rest, and the Microsoft mouse. For use with a mouse, the keyboard drawer may be fitted with a sliding shelf which permits the use of the mouse on the right or left side of the keyboard.

For applications requiring the use of a sealed pointing device, the HulaPoint is offered as a stand alone unit for use on the worktop surface or integrated in DuraSys IK keyboards.

DuraSys IK Industrial Keyboards and Pointing Devices

DuraSys IK-Series sealed industrial keyboards are housed in a steel enclosure with internal neoprene gasketing to seal the keyboard assembly to the steel case. A rugged flexible matte finish urethane rubber overlay extends over the keys and is trapped between the gasketing , thus preventing the entry of dust and moisture into the keyboard housing. The IK keyboard is available in small footprint 101 key Enhanced PC for computers, and 105 key ANSI (DEC VT) and 102 key Enhanced PCAT layout for Wyse and Link serial terminals.

The DuraSys IK4-Series keyboard is housed in a stainless steel case for worktop use, or a panel for panel mount use. A silicon rubber key array sealed to the case makes this keyboard ideal for use in NEMA4 or 4X applications, especially those where washdown is a requirement. The switch uses conductive rubber technology. A HulaPoint pointing device may be integrated into the case as an option.

The DuraSys sealed pointing device uses the HulaPoint technology from Fujitsu. This technology uses non contact magnetic sensing combined with a very light touch to make it easy to land on the desired area. The DuraSys HulaPoint is housed in a steel housing with a silicon rubber overlay, or is available integrated into the IK or IK4 keyboard housing.

DuraSys Rackmount and Office Grade Keyboards and Pointing Devices

DuraSys offers our small footprint 101 key PC keyboard in our rackmount keyboard drawer, and also for use on the worktop. We also offer full size worktop Enhanced PC layout keyboards for the PC and Wyse and Link serial terminals, and the 105 key ANSI (DEC VT) keyboard for Wyse and Link serial terminals.

DuraSys offers the Glidepoint touch pad pointing device (seen in many notebook computers), a trackball with wrist rest, and the Microsoft mouse for use in the rackmount drawer, or on the worktop.
